This Saturday’s matchup between Alabama A&M and Florida A&M has been moved.
The contest, which was to be the conference opener for both teams was moved as Florida is in the crosshairs of Hurricane, which is scheduled to make landfall Thursday afternoon.
“Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff,” acting FAMU Director of Athletics Michael Smith said. “Given the uncertainty surrounding Hurricane Helene, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to reschedule the game.”
The game is now scheduled to take place Friday, November 29 Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium.
